Wisp on the Way

Post by Acroflyer » Tue Dec 18, 2012 7:17 pm

Decided to try the Resperonics Wisp. Clinical Sleep Solutions in Canada has it for $115.00. Seems like a good price. I should have it next week, possibly this week. I'm surprised they have it and cpap.com doesn't. I'm looking forward to using it and posting my impresssions. I'd love to hear your impresiions if you tried it or know someone who has.

Looks like an interesting approach to masks. With the fabric version I would be concerned about keeping it clean and the fabric stretching. Not so sure about the fit of the whole thing, but I might be willing to at least give it a try because it looks like it might be the answer for restless sleepers such as myself... Unfortunately, the online suppliers I looked at for the US don't have it in stock yet ...

I'm on the list to be notified when they have it; but since I can finally get small cushions for my élan,
I don't know if I need to try another mask. (unless SleepWeaver designs a Full Face. )

CF, how do you "get on the list?" if you don't mind me asking.

I'm delighted there's this much interest. I may be the first on the forum to get one. I'm looking forward to writing an in-depth review. I'll also compare it to the Swift FX and Sleepweaver Elan. I'll start a new thread.

I was going to pick one up today from my DME and they are all out of them. She said they have been flying out the door. I'll be getting one to try out in the new year.
