ResMed s9 Autoset stopped to read SD card

Post by gailandartie » Wed Dec 12, 2012 1:03 am

Last night,I had my ResMed s9 Autoset on. Luckily, I was awake and suddenly it stop blowing. The message on the display said "Reading SD card". When it was done reading, the machine started again.

Has this happened to anyone?

Gail

My S9 bilevel machine does that everytime I turn it on, after I've removed the card to review data. But it's never done that.

Could you have had a brief power outage and as a result the machine rebooted / restarted?

If you have mans power interruption, the S9 will just stop. When the mains power comes back on, the S9 it will go through its normal power-up sequence, where it reads the SD card, and will then start doing whatever it was doing when the power was interrupted.

So, it is very highly likely you had what was probably a brief mains power outage.

Cheers,

Bill
