Hi

Does anyone know what the difference is between a ResMed S8 AutoScore & ResMed Autoset machine?

Is one a CPAP & the other an APAP?

It looks like Resmed used the name AutoScore in Australia and AutoSet elsewhere. Most likely only a name difference, both are APAP's.

An S8 Autoscore is a CPAP machine with full data facilities. You'll see a lot of references here to it as a ResMed S8 Elite, which was the North American market name for the model.

An S8 Autoset Spirit is a APAP machine with full data facilities. Again, you'll see a lot of references here to it as a ResMed S8 Vantage, which was the North American market name for the model.

Is there a glossary to consult for the names of various machines (especially old ones)?
It would also be good to know the vintage of any older machine offered for sale.
I had to tell someone the other day that I had "never seen that machine", and had no clue what, when, whatever.
