CpapTalk SQL error preventing me from logging on!

Post by DMW » Sat Dec 01, 2012 3:05 pm

Hi,

Long time member here but for the last two days or so Iif I log on I am directed to the following screen:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Can't find record in 'phpbb3_topics_track' [1032]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

I sent an email to the Admins but no response yet. Cleared cookies and it fails on multiple computers as well.
Any ideas / suggestions?

Thanks,
DMW aka Dead Man Walking

This stuff happens from time to time; a lot this week.
Maybe it's related to holiday cyber sales?--

No!

I am not really logged on. Just figured out a way to get a post done.
Doesn't work after I send the message.

I had that the other day--several times.
Whenever the squirrels attacked, I hit "back" arrow.
I was still logged in; but the returns after a post were not executing properly.

That would work fine for me. Unfortunately I get thrown to the error god immediately after the logon screen. Did your errors just clear up on their own?

RandyJ,

I tried all that, even moved to a different computer.

No luck, so far.

Next I'd try a different browser. If you're using Firefox, try Internet Explorer, or vice versa.

Finally, I'd make sure my router's firmware (if there is a router in the mix) is updated to the latest version.

Not sure if either of those will help... But good luck.

Assume it's not your fault; and eventually the net will finally get fixed.
They want our money--they WILL fix it.

chunkyfrog,

LOL.

Not like I have a lot of other options available, huh?

Just a big pain in the ... never mind.

My guess is that the site is occasionally swamped! Like sometimes every weekend!

Yes, everybody loves chunkyfrog!

Have a great weekend in spite of web site loading!

Update.
Today I can log on and see the board posts.
Selecting the post for reading provides me with the SQL error.
Back page and select the post again and it direcct me to the first post in the topic.

Any other ideas about fixing this annoyance?
