Playing with SleepyHead

Post by fdwrench » Fri Nov 30, 2012 11:48 am

Setting here on a rainy day playing with SleepyHead I noticed this.
Should it have been flagged as an event?
Am I right that the red dot is an attempted to jump start by the machine giving a pressure pulse?
Thank you
Ed

Red dot is just a marker for when a pressure pulse was delivered. Pressure pulses are used to help the machine identify a possible event. It has nothing to do with jump starting anything.
In this case this reduction in air flow didn't meet criteria for an event...probably not quite enough reduction in flow ...so no event was flag but the pressure pulse was used just in case the reduction had met criteria and then the machine would have known what to call the event...either central (clear airway) or obstructive in nature. That's the function of the pressure pulses. No every pressure pulse will be sitting next to a flagged event.
