Help with interpreting Res Scan data

Post by kims » Tue Nov 13, 2012 6:38 am

Hi I just got my Resmed s9 AutoSet machine yesterday and used it for the first time last night. I took a look at the card this morning on ResScan and was able to figure out some of the results but not all. My AH/AHI was 2.1. Is that good/bad? Also, is there a manual for Res Scan or some place that I can read about how to interpret results?

Thanks,

Kim

AHi of 2.1 is good. The target is less than 5. Do you have your sleep report? Many of us had AHI of 40+ before we started using the cpap machines.

There is actually a Clinician manual for ResScan included in the ResScan software program.
Go to All Programs/ResMed/ResScan... ResScanClinicianManual
Don't try to open ResScan with the shortcut...use the All Programs navigation

Don't know if it will offer the explanation you are looking for though. Mostly it is how to use the software and some definitions.

Click on the link to Clinical Guide below. It does not explain the terms but posters on this board will try to "Diagnose" it for you.
