tubing size.

Post by wiguy » Fri Nov 02, 2012 6:09 pm

Quick question... it appears the tubing for the heated tube is smaller in diameter than that of the standard tube... is there any setting I need to change, or will the machine recognize this?

thanks

It should recognize the new heated hose but to make sure you can go into the clinical setup menu.

I believe 15 H means 15 heated hose and the manual says that the machine automatically detects it.
Should you remove it then the machine reverts back to the previous tubing setting.
There is also a setting for 15 which I assume is a plain slim hose and the standard 22 mm hose.
You should be good to go.

Hint for fitting the Bella Loops. Do the final fitting laying down in bed. If you do it sitting up the weight of the hose will pull on the loops a little and you might tend to get things too tight. I speak from experience.
