Hi, folks.
Newly diagnosed middle aged man here with moderate to severe OSA just a few days into CPAP treatment.
Using RemStar Auto A Flex + System One Heated Humidifier.
Masks offered by defaut(covering Nose + Mouth) not working great unless I make them Super tight, which is really hurting the bridge of my nose. Also, I need to restrap/reset the thing every night. Just a big mess. I'ts insurance-covered and I've requested a mask re-fitting with the Sleep Therapist, who will be out next week to show me some other options.
Are there full-face mask options that (a) do not hurt your nose and have greater cushioning and give there and (b) can retain their setting so you don't need to re-velcro and re-engineer on a nightly basis?
Thanks for any insights.

This one doesn't touch your nose so no way to decimate it.
Don't freak out. There are actually some forum members here using this mask and loving every minute of it.

They Hybrid type uses nasal pillows so nothing touches the bridge of the nose

Super tight is actually considered counter productive because most of those masks need to inflate to seal.
Too tight actually makes the leaks worse because the seal never really get made.
Don't know which mask you are using but you might read this to see if it might help you. Even if not your mask..the principle remains the same.
