charts show a break in data when to best of my knowledge I was in bed asleep and data restarts just as my alarm clock went off. What happened??? Looks to me like I totally stopped breathing (was dead) and then started again. SCAREY IDEA. Would like a better scenario and explanation ~~ PLEASE. Here are charts Sorry they are in reverse order from normal. ~~
Not ready to be dead and not wake up.......
THANK YOU

You forgot to leave out Reece's Pieces for the aliens.

I'm new to all this, but it seems to me as if you had the mask off for a period of time. The leak rate before the absence of data went up drastically.
Good thing your alarm went off!

You weren't dead. You're missing data. The question is why. Did you turn the machine off in your sleep or is it just a data problem? Not clear.

Big leak prior to missing data.
Big enough that the machine may not have been able to sense any flow and if you have AutoStart on the machine may have turned itself on. Maybe you repositioned the mask in your sleep and the machine then sensed air flow and turned itself back on.
Even with Autostart Off...may have been big enough leak that the machine couldn't sense any flow and simply didn't record anything because it didn't think anything was going on. No back pressure.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Big leak then no data!!! ok. Makes good sense. AND is a relief. mask/pillows out of correct place ... solvable which is great. the idea that my breathing had ceased dramatically did not appeal at all. With pillows can you get them so squished that the air no longer flows?
Getting a tin hat and feeding aliens actually sounded better than ... the big not breathing idea it has no appeal.
Reese's Pieces would not have been my guess for alien food ..... I am sure they would prefer extra dark chocolate with orange.....
Thanks to all who answered!!!!!

Even if you were dead, the pressure line should still be there on the graph. Either the machine was off, or there was a glitch in the data collection or the SleepyHead program.
Alien abduction is also a possibility.

Not likely. That happened to me as well. Turned out the plug had somehow gotten partially out of the socket and lost just enough contact to run the machine. I might have turned over and the plug went back in the socket. My bed is on wheels. Maybe something like that happened to you too. The DME checked out my machine by running it 3 hours at their place. Ever since I made sure the plug was in the socket it's worked fine.

Great suggestion! Not one I would have imagined as a possible issue. But sure. Just enough juice intermittently to keep the unit running, but not enough to keep the data loggers rolling. I've seen that behavior with LED lights. The light fixture worked well enough with incandescent bulbs and even CFLs. But the LED bulbs would not start. In that case, a replaced light switch fixed the problem.
But I can't help but get this image of MZH in a Looney Tunes cartoon with the bed rolling all over the bedroom!
