machine question

Post by Roxy » Sat Oct 06, 2012 9:14 am

I have the resmed autoset with heated hose. Should the hose setting on the machine be set to slim line or regular?

Thanks for your help

The machine should automatically detect the heated hose and not offer you that choice.

Set the hose for slim line. This Is wrong, I must have missed the climate line, sometimes I read to fast.

When you plug in the hose and rotate the electrical fitting to mesh with
the mating fitting on the back of the humidifier until it clicks,
the display will say 'climate control enabled'. Done.
(you DID remove the black cover from the little gizmo below the hose fitting?)
See this video, but fast forward to 1:35 to see it plugged in.

I've typically seen the auto confirmation as well with the heated. I've never seen the slim-line/other question on my machine.

I press the button with two check marks, once, which displays the 'settings' screen.
If the electronics for the hose are engaged the second line says 'climate line';
if you rotate the hose at the back to disconnect the electrical components, it shows 'slimline' on mine.
This is where you change the unheated hose type.
