Res med S9 humidity and temperature settings

Post by Joe in NC » Fri Oct 05, 2012 7:17 pm

Tonight is humid, temperature will drop to the 60's. What is the ideal manuel humidity setting for the S9? I like 80 degrees for the temperature. Will 5 work for the humidity setting?

I always have to leave mine at half of yours, otherwise I feel like I'm drowning near morning. One thing I haven't figured out with the S9, does the temperature setting work independently of the humidity level (if using a heated hose)? If so, should one setting impact the other?

The warmer the air, the more moisture it will hold so, for me, a humidity setting of 4 is fine. Haven't tried the auto setting yet but should experiment with that soon.

Why not put it in Auto mode?
Default is 80% humidity & 80 degrees.

It will automatically adjust for the change in the room temperature & humidity to keep a constant 80 / 80.

You CAN manually set the temperature and the humidity separately.
1 Setting does not impact the other.
