mzlaura hope you're doing ok

Post by kaiasgram » Mon Sep 17, 2012 12:49 pm

mzlaura I've been thinking about you and wondering how you're doing. No need to respond if you don't feel like it, just wanted you to know I was thinking about you. Your thread got hopelessly hijacked, but I and I'm sure others here haven't forgotten about your situation and are hoping things are somehow improving for you.

Not even!!

It was "Constructively Redirected".

Alternatively, perhaps DAH read it and went postal.

Just shows to go ya, never say anything you might regret later.

Just ask Mitt.

Yeah, well, it's TFL now. I'm sure the Dems got a hold of that 2 seconds after he said it and waited until just the right time.

Someone posts on here checking on someone's well being..

And you want to turn it into a political post..

Very sad...

I hope mzlaura is doing ok..

Not hardly!!

I was "bringing the post back to the top so the OP could see it".

Course, there's always that risk that people who simply enjoy P&Ming will choose that time to post.

Very sad indeed...

Since some don't seem to be aware of the long history on this board of making the bump posts entertaining/informing when bringing threads back to the first page or back up to the top (something often necessary on a one-big-pot style board without divisions into categories), I'm glad Uncle Dave explained it so people can see the difference between that and actual hijacking. (Not everyone understands what a soft-hearted guy he is, after all.) Some may also have missed the point that the sleep studies Dave posted pictures of at the other thread were mzlaura's studies and that he was using the opportunity to give very relevant practical information to be of help to her.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program(s).

(I own stock in parentheses, btw. Wish I hadn't sold my Apple stock to get it.)

And right after I jack this thread, I plan to drive a wedge of 2Bros into your heart (hey, wooden stakes are pricey!!)

That baseline O2 drop of mzl I find troubling. If we can get a measurement of pCO2 somehow (and we can guess it from electrolytes, if any were ever done) then we can perhaps identify it as OHS (which would be very troubling for a youngster, but the first line treatment is CPAP anyway, and apparently it works quite well).

Also, there may be a medication effect in there, noting the dramtic improvement in sleep architecture (which I would have thought would have gotten worse once CPAP was applied).

Anyway, if a complete understanding of her situation is gained, perhaps she can better explain it to DAH and all the problems will be solved.

Salad today for lunch. In your honor.

I too, as Dave and the others, hope mzlaura is OK.

Oh, and BUMP.
