A couple of months ago I was considering to buy one of those Amazon hose holders but the picture happens to show the ends of the rods are black as if there are plastic inserts on it.

The other thing I noticed is there is not the same company who produce it. I was wondering if the Amazon's Hose holder wasn't a low quality made in China.

I bought the one from cpap.com which is exactly as the one I have been using since the beginning 2 1/2 years ago and all is on aluminium except the end which fits on the base.

We bought one after reading through the Amazon reviews, thinking it was worth a try. Husband was skeptical. Surprisingly, he LOVES it and says it makes a huge difference in his comfort, since he always knows where he can "grab" for the hose in the middle of the night if he needs to adjust anything. We tucked it under the mattress on the headboard end. So far, so good. This is a very good price.
