Note from Starlette

Post by Starlette » Sat Aug 25, 2012 12:55 pm

Good afternoon everyone.

I've been at my parent's house for past week. Mom has Shingles and my Dad can't take care of himself. I don't when I'll be returning home.
So, if I have made financial negotiations or mask trading, please understand my predicament. I will get in touch with you as soon as Mom is better and when I can return home.

I miss getting on the forum.

Please try to take care of yourself too, I know how hard it is to be a caregiver and I'm really not taking my own advice. Hope Mom gets better soon, shingles can be so painful.

After 6 weeks, I'm back home. I'll post later.
On Friday just hours before I left to return home, I got a dog bite on my right hand and right butt cheek from putting a bark collar on parents' dog.
Hubbs took me to the doctors right away. They gave me some meds specifically made for dog bites and a tetnus shot on the left arm. Needless to say, I haven't been able to sleep well for the last couple of days. I have a bed pillow that looks like a top part of a sofa chair that I've been sleeping with sitting up.
I say all this that when I'm in those "alert modes", I'll start reading my PMs and get the negotiations that I've started under way as soon as possible.

OK, completed this task. I checked all my PM's since July 1, 2012. I believe I've contacted those via PM that I either hadn't responded to or negotiations were still open. So, if you haven't received a response from me today please let me know via PM. It's important to me to show integrity on the forum. So restful or not, I wanted to contact those I hadn't for the last 6 weeks. My apologies for the delay.

Hope your family is doing better. Shingles is no picnic. Glad you're there for your parents.

About the $5K you owe me, don't worry about it. All's forgiven.

Good morning Brucifer.

Dear, you must have had severe OSA with major leak issues that were not dealt with for about a week and a half.
Last time we PM'd one another 6 weeks ago, I understood that I owed you $15K. I'm SOOO glad all is forgiven. Thank you so much for your kindness.
