6 foot hose work with hose management system?

Post by fieldoflife » Fri Aug 24, 2012 4:29 pm

I am interested in buying the CPAP Hose Lift System or something similar, but the question I haven't found an answer to is: will this system work with a 6 foot hose? My machine is placed about 10 or so inches lower than my bed, which is the height of two mattresses and a standard-height box spring.

The product information states that "when set up, the height of the CPAP Hose Lift is 37 inches from the base to the top of the mast." I must be missing something, because if this is saying the total height from the floor to the top of the product is just under three feet, that is way too short, and doesn't seem to match the promotional image.

I want to avoid buying this system if it won't work with a 6 foot hose.

The hose manager I use has a base that fits between the box spring and the mattress. If the one you are looking at works that way the 37 inches would be measured from the base of the mattress, not from the floor.
