trouble wearing the mask

Post by Meecalii » Thu Aug 23, 2012 6:26 pm

lately we've had high humidity where i am and im having a problem where some nights it is just to damned hot to wear the mask i do have the A/C high but as that is a window unit and it get rather loud when it clicks on so i end up turning it over to just fan. is there any way that i'm not thinking to deal with this?? I'm used to cold weather and lately it has been humid around 90% and temps in 80's to 90's. I'm sure someone must have asked this question somewhere but i didn't see it.

Are you running your humidifier? And on a highish setting?

Humidifiers are for comfort, not therapy as such, and if you don't need it where you live, don't use, or at least turn down the setting if it's also heated... Some people never use them at all, and many of us only in winter to counteract indoor heating.

You also need more airflow in your room. Buy a floor fan and have it aimed at you.

How about a mask liner? at least then it's the soft cloth next to your face and not the silicone.
