Connection issues?

Post by Noddyman » Thu Aug 16, 2012 5:56 am

Hi all,
Is anyone else having connection issues? For the last week I've been having to do many continued retries to get pages, with nothing changed on my end. I read somewhere that some maintenance/upgrades are going on and perhaps this is causing some hiccouphs. Please keep in mind that I am very grateful for all the work that goes on behind the scenes so we can all have a forum.....but is there something possibly amiss somewhere?
Cheers,
Nods

Yes. Lots of connection issues and they have been working on it for the last few days.
I am not having nearly as many as I did before they started working on it. Huge improvement. I still get a few time out things but nothing like it was before they started working on it.
There is a thread about it.

Thanks Pugsy,

took at least 3 retries on each page of that quoted post...hence my delay in replying....and then trying to get my answer up!!

I agree that it's a pain, but hopefully the gremlins will be found soon.

Perhaps there is a thread about this somewhere, but just out of curiousity I'm wondering about the entire site. Like where it comes from, who pays or sponsors it etc?

Cheers,

Nods

The forum is supported solely by cpap.com.
They pay the bills to support the forum and they pay the bills to work out the bugs.
I had a couple of time outs this morning but no error messages like I had been seeing. Last week I couldn't do anything without getting all sorts of error messages and timing out every time I even tried to go to a different thread.
Hugely annoying.
If you are getting error messages please copy them and post them in the thread above so the IT guys can track down the bugs.

Thanks Pugsy

And cpap.com!

I got some of the sql messages about 6 days ago, but now it is consistently timeouts.

Fingers crossed for a solution soon!
