I put the "spacer" 3/4" foam back in the pillow and turned it to the Fiber Fill side on Tuesday. Since my ComfortGel Blue FullFace is still in shipping, I strapped on my Quattro Fx Full and went to bed at 9:00 p.m. Around 2:00 a.m., I hit the bathroom, washed my face, put the mask back on, and went back to bed. Got up at 5 and thought, "Dang, I woke only one time last night and don't remember even doing any readjusting - BEST night so far!"
Last night was horrendous - I could NOT get the Fx adjusted to where it didn't leak and/or scrunch up into my eyes. Maybe 2 hours of solid sleep. WORST night of 13. I would like to know what was different to cause it?
My DME says my new ComfortGel Blue is scheduled for delivery today - I sure hope so...
(I am really liking my CPAPMax! )

FWIW, I have had a horrible time controlling the FX leaks even though I swear I am following the instructions correctly in putting it on. It is very frustrating.
So in your case, it may be simply the luck of the draw. I hope you have better luck with the comfort blue.

Re: FWIW - Best/worst night Quattro Fx & CPAPMax
I really struggled with the FX at first. I kept at it because I used it in the sleep study, and the tech fit it perfectly on me. Not a single adjustment, so I knew it fit.
For me, the mask is a tad large for my face. It is the small size, so there is no smaller option. People here told me I had it too high on my face, so that is why it was leaking into my eye. I started adjusting it lower, and as long as I don't go too low, it worked pretty well.
I did also find that my headgear was loose on me. The part across the top of my head was definitely loose at all times, allowing the mask to move more. I was also needing to pull the straps tight, and I couldn't pull them as far as I needed to, because the velcro would be in my hair and not attached to the mask. Sometimes, I barely had it attached, and it would come loose. I got new headgear, sized small, and I rarely have to adjust it anymore. The headgear is snug, and set at the largest setting, it fits really well. My mask doesn't move around any more, and in rare cases, I might tighten the mask a little later in the night.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

I would have liked the QFX (nice, light) if the cushion had stayed in the frame better--and if it had fit me better (mostly the fit)
Once I had the eye leak stopped, loads of air made a mad getaway over my chin.

Hoooorayyy - my ComfortGel Blue Full came today. Size XL. The headgear isn't marked (or I haven't found it yet) - and although I haven't hooked it to the machine yet, I have tried it on - and it's already much more comfortable than the Fx.
I'll post the 1st night's impressions in the morning.

If it was a long time ago, they have redesigned them. The lady at my mom's DME said they made the groove deeper to help the cushion stay in better.
Mine has come apart a couple times, but only after I went longer without washing it.
