First data from SleepyHead

Post by no1texan » Tue Jun 26, 2012 1:12 pm

I have several days of data now from SleepyHead software. I have tried to summarize in a useful but quick way to pick up the major issues. I am in the process of going through the data, piece by piece, with a glossary close by to try and understand what it all means. Any comments would be welcomed. I want to say thanks to the CPAP veterans for hanging around and answering questions over and over again. This action shows a true loving and caring heart for others. Now if I can get the image posted ok...oops..didn't work. I am leaving the links for comments. I could not get Photobucket to upload my image so I am using Imageshack-basically same. There are several links to choose from to copy from Imageshack and paste here and I have tried I think each one but so far..no image??

I can't see the image (on a work computer and all I see is a red x) BUT I wanted to say:

It's awesome that you're sticking around and giving CPAP another go!

Hey, you said any comments would be welcome...

Learning something about ImagesShack. If you click on the link in my post, it will take you to the image in ImagesShack...least you see my data chart from SleepyHead.

I still can't from work - they block image hosting sites and pics but I promise I'll look when I get on my own laptop at home In the meantime, I know the more experienced members will be more than happy to comment on the data when they come across your thread.

I think it's great you're giving it a second try. Hang in there, we'll support you all the way...

Here's Phil's Graph from the OP. Thought it would be easier to just correct and re-post than try to explain about the Image

Still an image box with red x - our IT department makes sure we don't get to see fun stuff

I'll check it out at home, but thanks!

Thanks lazer-appreciate you being proactive and putting the chart out there-even if I have to put up with that bug.

Wow I feel dizzy now

Phil, when you want to show an image from ImageShack, go to the "Links to share your image" and copy the fourth one "Forum Code".
Just do copy / paste, it should work.

About your data: comments from a CPAP non-veteran: still some improvements necessary for sure (especially leaks) but the trend seems good. Obstructive Apnea figures are improving. Most important is how do you feel yourself? Any improvement?

My question is if the events numbers are for the total time shown or per hour?

I think it's total. If you calculate on the first day: 99 events divided by 6.39 hours gives you an AHI of 14.87.

Thanks,

Hey you seems to be the right one to tell Mr. Lazer to stop the misheguss with those Active Avatar bug. It interferes with the thread.

So the AHIs are still above 10. I used to have such hi AHIs when I used masks that caused hi leaks. But not any more after I settled on my present mask and and a chinstrap. I keep seeing lots of posters who show lousy treatment and who use those pillows masks.
Can you show your own results?

So the AHIs are still above 10.
Most welcome

As for interfering with threads I am afraid I must first learn how to avoid that before giving advices to others

Reply,

I can delete Lazer's post with the bugs with one click, as spam. Shall I do it?

Well, I just did it b/c it bothers my concentration. Sorry.

We all know Lazer is a regular member (and a nice guy), not a spammer. So my answer is no.
Too much power can be dangerous.
