Contour Cpapmax pillow

Post by barker109 » Tue Jun 19, 2012 4:58 pm

Hi Folks,

I just had to let others know that I've used this pillow the last two nights and have had much better sleep. I'm excited and didn't have anyone else to share with......LOL!

Thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen! I think it's neat you have found a pillow that helps you have better sleep. Honestly, anything that adds quality to this experience is fantastic! I know what you mean about not having someone to share with! Here you're jumping around with joy doin' the happy dance and it's neat when you can share your joy. I'm glad you posted!

Has anyone tried this pillow?

It looks like your head would go in the middle, thereby eliminating the side strap touching the pillow?? Does anyone know?

I also like the idea of that and the price isn't bad. Anyone familiar with this one and/or deal with this company before?

No, I don't have one of those but wish I did. Looks more comfortable than mine and probably wouldn't be sitting in a drawer now.

I have one too and I love it. I tend to sleep in a position between my side and stomach and the contour pillow is perfect! I thought I would never be able to find a pillow to accommodate my sleeping position.

I tried it, but it's too fluffy for me.

I also use the contour pillow. Works great for me. People need to know that it is rather hard, is only 2-2 1/2' tall and a memory foam pillow. I like the way that it slants toward your shoulders, and has a small ledge to support the neck. The cut outs are perfect.

I carved a memory foam pillow into a similar shape--looks pretty good.
It doesn't work for me. Too stiff and tall--notch doesn't work for me. Ruined one memory foam pillow.
I like a thinner fiberfill or the small contour soft memory foam pillow at Wal Mart.
What was I thinking of?

Lazer... I've seen this pillow on a few different sites. I'm thinking it's likely comfortable since many companies carry it, but I'm still wondering if the side strap would touch the pillow.

Thanks. I did see Sheriff's reply that it's a bit fluffy so not sure I would like that or not. I kinda like something semi-firm or that I don't sink down into so much.

I'm thinking that putting another pillow under this one might take care of that problem.

barker109, thanks for sharing -- I too would be excited for anything that allows some improvement in my sleep experience. Your post prompted me to go ahead and try the pillow -- thanks!

We use this one from cpapdotcom and like it, just the right firmness. We alternate with a contour memory foam pillow. We gave the CpapMax pillow to a forum member because it was too high and firm for hubby and dislodged the mask.

Thanks for the info Dori. I'll keep that in mind Nothing against the cpap.com one and a person probably gets what they pay for but I'm trying to pinch the pennies where possible and the one linked in the "quoted" text at top caught my eye with the 1/2 price and shipping...
