CPAP and Travel to Asia

Post by arizonaartie » Sun Mar 19, 2006 11:14 am

I'd like feedback on what people take with them when they travel for weeks at a time.
1. Do you take your larger home machine?
2. Did you buy a smaller travel machine? If so, which one and do you like it.

I travel with my PB 420E. It's a fantastic travel machine. If you have a big clunker, I'd suggest getting the 420G as an economical travel machine.

I travel internationally often, and even spent three weeks in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam last year , and had no problems with my machine.

I rented a PB 420 G for my trip to Vietnam and Thailand. Was gone for a month with no problems at all. I highly recommend the machine, small light, converts the electric, and no problem with customs/security.

I would think that the only problem traveling would be the power outtages. We were in India, and the power flickered on a off almost constantly. They are notorious for power instability. Not sure of other countries. I'm looking forward to trying the new rechargable one, myself for when we're camping or traveling.
