Has anyone tried the new ResScan VERSION 4.1 out yet? It's probably still in beta.

Upgraded tonight and seems to run fine on my machine.

Prior version often gave me a blue screen of death, hopefully this upgrade will resolve that issue.

I have had no problems with 3.16. Is there any reason for me to install this newer version? I am on windows 7.

I downloaded and installed it on my mac computer with software 10.7.4 and the latest VM fusion. It seems faster and a lot more responsive
to mouse commands.

Thanks for letting us know about the upgrade.I doesn't appear to be a betta version.

I second the faster comment. It does seems faster on my old MS XP machine. I haven't found anything different yet but only had it for a few minutes.

Installed smoothly. No issues. I didn't do anything special with previous version and all my old data is there.
The download process went hugely faster...the other versions was horribly slow. I wasn't going to do it but figured why not...new software and something sort of new to play with...especially if it was even a few seconds faster...previous version I could almost take a nap waiting on it to do its thing.

I just tried the url I had for the older version (ResMed-ResScan download) and that is the only one listed. Where did you find the 4.1 version?

Can't get version 4.1 installed on Windows 7 Professional (64-bit). Says "error reading initialization file" which usually means it didn't download all the way, but that is not the case. The installer file is 111 MB. I tried running the installer as administrator with no luck. Couldn't find that error here on the board either.

Ideas?
