Aura....a beautiful thing
Aura....a beautiful thing
Well, used my new Aura last night and what a fantastic mask!!! I decided to try it on the reviews I read here and they were all right on the mark. I rolled from stomach to side to back and had not one leak or issue all night. I guess the mask I used to think was perfect (NAll) will go in the drawer for now and I will use it for backup. Thanks for the wealth of information on this board.

I am occasional Headrest user (still waiting on Aussie hose to help with the amazing rainout problem) and I find that all I have to do to remove my glasses is pull the bottom part of the interface away enough to pull them off. It reseals easily enough. It is somewhat more difficult to put them on with the entire thing on your head.

Aura for sale
Looks like a good thread to offer to sell my Aura.
Original price with Medium (unopened) and Large seals: $109.
Original price of X-large seal, incl shipping: $37.50
2 headgear adjustment kits to make it better fit a small head. (The headgear only comes in one size.)
The headgear has the gray box, not the clear, but configuration is the same.
I'll include original invoices.
Sell all for $70, including postage to continental US.
PM me if interested.
Jerry
PS: I may be fickle but I've recently fallen for a traditional nasal mask, the ComfortGel. First ever non-pillow interface.

The few times I've put reading glasses on with the Headrest (Aura), I've been able to set the glasses in front outside of the whole thing. The bottom of the lenses sit securely on the nasal pillows assembly for me. Makes the glasses be about a half inch farther forward from my eyes than they normally would be, but I can read fine through them that way. I guess everyone's mileage would vary. Anyway, my glasses are usable outside the Aura.

IMHO, the Aura outshines the Swift 100%. I used both, still have both and don't use my Swift at all since getting the Aura.Anonymous wrote:Are there any Swift users who have tried the Aura? The Aura looks interesting, but the Swift works fairly well; and I'm reluctant to spring for yet another mask unless there's some evidence it may work better. My main concern is retaining a dependable seal with reasonable comfort.
