So the feedback I get says it wont go to 20 if I dont need 20
where tho do I set the minimum range to?
My old script was cpap 8
I am set now at 8-20
Seems the machine does spend a little time at 6 and 7 now (even with min set to MOST time is at 8 some nine and an occasional 10 Never higher in 10 days
AHI was 56 last night and I feel awful today and had to cancel plans!
AHI night before was in the 40s and I felt great yesterday
AHI two days ago was only 8 and felt great !
AHI is swinging wildly!
Im good now on MOST (but not all days)
So ok we can narrow the range to say max 14 (I know it can stay at 20)
BUT
where should I set the min?
Keep 8 ? Go down to 6??

Re: adjusting apap range
Your 95 percentile would be a good indication of your correct pressure. Set the lower number at a number that you feel comfortable at without the feeling of suffocating. If it was me... I'd set the lower number at 7 and the top at 14. See what your 95 percentile is.

Can you post screenshots of your event and leak graphs from the software? It might help people to give you more intelligent advice.

Same question that I posed in your other thread...What is the AHI event category breakdown?
And yes, please post an image of your report..something weird is going on here.. To go from such good numbers to this shouts that something else is going on that is messing with things. A minor variation we can explain away but not these huge variations. Check leak..and are you waking up often? We need to know how much of that AHI is central index please..Very important.
Don't know how to post and image of your report? Here is how I do it.
Open the image to full size so it is easily read.
I use Vista snipping tool to create a screen shot and crop the image at the same time.
Prt/scr key will also take a screen shot if using XP. If laptop is used sometimes the Fn key has to be pushed at the same time as the prt/scr key
I think windows 7 Home Premium has the snipping tool, Basic may not.
Once the screen shot is created save it in jpg format.
Upload the image to a host site. I use Photobucket it is free, there are others.
Once the image is uploaded then copy the ENTIRE IMG address. Be sure to include the opening and closing IMG in brackets. Paste that copied address into a post here.
Use the preview button. If you can't see the image try again because if you can't see it we can't.
