Strange sensations !

Post by RobertinTX » Mon Mar 13, 2006 3:15 pm

Have you ever been on a boat fishing and when you get off you still feel the movement of the boat ??
I just woke up from a nap, using my CPAP, of course, and feel like I just got off a boat. That movement sensation.
What causes this ??
Or maybe no one else has experienced it and I need to go to the Dr., I'm just curious. And how do you get it to go away ?
OK, I'll shut up and listen.

Perhaps something to do with your inner ear. Happens when I fly instruments sometimes. Takes a few minutes to get my land legs after landing.
Perhaps a bit of air is getting into the ear and disrupting the balance.

Thanks, I had thought of the inner ear but didn't associate it with this since I haven't had any problems.

Robert, have your recently changed anything regarding your therapy? Such as machine, mask, humidifier, pressure, etc.? I would also think it has something to do with the inner ear. Fluid might be getting in there - from your pressure and humidifier - mine has done that.

If not, then I would say it was your wild weekend, or you can blame too much chili.

Any changes would be suspect. In my case, I bumped my humidifier from 1 to 2, and got a plugged up ear.

Yummy chili , or Oops chili ???????????
