How to get warmer air - getting sore throat

Post by OrangeLily » Sat Mar 17, 2012 5:19 pm

I have a Mirage Liberty mask, size large. I think it might be too big, but nothing I can do until Monday anyway. I am a mouth breather & am having problems with dry mouth & now a sore throat. How can I make the air warmer? I'm not sold on this particular mask, but I like to give it at least 5 days trying it.

I'm recently diagnosed as of last month, so I'm still learning a lot. Thankful for this site.

Hi - you haven't mentioned using a humidifier at all... do you? Because you should be able to raise the temperature that way, though I'm not really familiar with your machine, but you can also get a Climateline hose - do a forum search for threads about it... it should do the trick, but you could (at least temporarily) make some kind of hose cover until you get a professional answer.

But - are you sure that even though you have a FF mask you might not need to use a chin strap at the same time - some people do...
