Anyone know if you need an adaptor for the electrical outlets there? I've looked all over the internet, even went into travel office but I'm getting conflicting information.
My CPAP machine is a three prong - will I be able to plug into wall sockets there?

Re: Going to Dominican - need advice
You probably could buy one there if you need it.

If you can't find out, just take an adaptor. They are small and fit in your cpap case or in your baggage.

Dominican Republic, or Dominica? It matters (different voltage, different plugs)
If Dominican Republic, be sure to take a good surge protector. Voltage fluctuations are really common.
I tend to take a set of adapters, a surge protector, and a transformer, no matter where I travel, just in case. If your machine has a power block, it should say right on it if it can accept 110-220 v; if it does, then all you need is the plug adapter. If it only says "110v," then you also need a transformer when you go to a country where 220v is used.
Another source for what plug where:

Happy travels!
