Re: how to view new posts
When you open the thread you will find in the upper right hand corner of the listing
right above the SPAM and twitter buttons, a little line that says "first unread post".
If you click on that, you will see the first post that you have not seen yet.

Re: how to view new posts
First of all make sure you are logged in every time you come here. Check the box on the login page. Then when you hover the cursor over the topic title a popup will say "no new posts" or "New Posts". Put the cursor over the little tiny icon to the left of the topic title and right click and select "open in new tab." When you go to the tab you will be at the next new post. I always open the topic in a new tab. Saves reopening the content page all the time.chilliman64 wrote:hi fellow apnearists

That's about as simple as is possible with this forum.

Re: how to view new posts
What you are looking for is not there. Once you have logged in ALL of the posts displayed are sorted according to "new". With the "newest" being on top. Even if you are not logged in it will be sorted that way. 'Cept the little icon mentioned above is not available.chilliman64 wrote:hi fellow apnearists

It is the "Big Pot" design. All posts go into the same pot. Before you even mention changing it, do a search. It is simple and we like simple. There are other forums that you can sort the way you want.
HTH
EDIT:
That is the default setting. There are other sort options on the very bottom of the Home page.
I leave mine at default so new is on top

I am making progress-NOW I remember that I can't remember

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

If you haven't read them before all the posts are new, you get to choose which you want to open. Jim
