No data recorded on RemStar Auto

I used Encore Pro 2 once and a few months later I decided to check how I was going. The card has stopped recording data since 11/11/11, which is the day I left the US for home in Australia. I didn't play with the card during travel or since coming back, so it's an odd date to stop recording. The device display shows data, except I can't tell if it is recent, since there is no date visible. The card has 97% free space, so I haven't filled it up. It can only go in the machine one way, so that's not a problem.

I created a new patient and re-loaded the card after reassigning it, but there was no difference to the downloaded data.

Any ideas what to do?

The write protect tab on the SD-card could be on?

Perhaps try gently cleaning the SD-cards contacts, and blow any dust out of the card slot in the back of the machine.
(It might be connecting in your PC, but not the machine)

A file structure error could also be messing it up. A disk check of the SD card (eg, in Windows explorer) may fix it.. (Try to back it up to a folder on your hard drive first just in case)

Failing that, it might be time to buy and set up a new 2GB SD card.. (off the shelf job from Kmart/BigW/etc should do fine)

When you insert the card back into the machine, does it bring up the "Card Activity" screen on the LCD panel?

Thanks for the suggestions, but all is well. The card and data were fine, but there might have been a contact problem with the portable card reader. I thought I'd check last night's data and found that all the missing data had been downloaded. Good to go.
