13 pound battery back-up

Does anyone know if the TSA (airport security) has restrictions on my recently purchased battery back-up.....I travel frequently and don't want to run into any problems.....it's a large unit and need some advise....George

Contact the airline and TSA. They may have different restrictions.
If you have time, get it down in writing in case some ninny wants to ruin your trip.

Needs to be carry-on...at least when I last looked for answers.....

For a few trips, TSA was more concerned/interested in my CPAP lithium battery than in my computer or CPAP!!

All three of those go in their own bin on the belt when going thru TSA security.....It is a drag but over quickly! Luckily I like to get to the airport with much time to spare!!

I was thinking about getting a backup battery but since I dont go camping and we hardly ever lose power in my suburb I decided to forget it.They can be expensive.
