S9Autoset Pressure Readings
S9Autoset Pressure Readings
I have been searching for the information on the screen that tells the pressure that the machine has registered. I noticed that the reading has been fairly constant at 14.4 for several days. I am assuming this is a mean or average reading. Does the unit list a "running" pressure when on auto? I am trying to find out if there is any difference between sleeping on my side as compared to back sleeping. I'm not so computer literate. Thank you very much.

Could let us know what machine you have?SS343 wrote:I have been searching for the information on the screen that tells the pressure that the machine has registered. If your machine is a data compatible machine then it may be posssible to get computer software to look at "running" info such as pressure, masks leaks etc. The screens only display averages and totals.

Look in Uncle Bob's signature line in his reply to you...ResScan software link.
For a video on how to use ResScan...http://montfordhouse.com/cpap/resscan_tutorial/
If you see other people using SleepyHead software..it will also work with ResMed machines and software information on it is found in my signature line.
Using the software you will be able to answer your questions about your pressure. The LCD information is good but one dimensional.

Re: S9Autoset Pressure Readings
For those that may be interested, I finally discovered how to tell at what pressure the S9 Autoset is operating, real time, as opposed to the 90% listed in the data. While the unit is operating, press one of the information bars to the left of the info knob and the real time pressure is displayed on a bar just below the Climateline hose temperature.
Re: S9Autoset Pressure Readings
Be sure your machine is not set to CPAP mode which is a fixed pressure.SS343 wrote:I have been searching for the information on the screen that tells the pressure that the machine has registered.
