Software

Post by Big_T_Foot » Sat Dec 24, 2011 9:28 am

I see alot of people track their own sleep with software. I was not given this option from my doctor. I was wondering if this is something I can download so I can see what is going on with me and my usage. I am very computer savvy, so I don't need a step by step. I just need to know where I can find something good that a layperson can understand and that is compatable with my machine.

Your PR System One software choices are explained here along with some examples.

Check out my signature for SleepyHead information links. I like it better than the Encore products. There is a Mac version available in the "files" section.

If you want additional information on how to get Encore Pro, just send me a private message. It is big, bulky, painfully slow and sometimes a PITA to use. SleepyHead dances circles around it.

Agree, I was not given any software, my machine is locked so I don't think I can see the detailed sleep quality information either. I have followed some posts on here that say hold down the info and check buttons and the LCD screen will flicker and yes it does but I can't access anything. What type of software is needed? do I ask for it from DME? A newbie who wants to learn as much as possible also! Thanks and Merry Christmas to all.

SleepyHead will work on your ResMed S9 machine. See my signature.

ResScan is ResMed's software..check Uncle Bob's signature for it. memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=38643

Tutorial on how to use ResScan here..http://montfordhouse.com/cpap/resscan_tutorial/

To request the provider manual which will tell you how to get into the clinical settings see bottom of this page..http://www.apneaboard.com/CPAP%20Adjustment.htm

For how to get into your clinical settings to unlock your machine with pictures..see here http://www.apneaboard.com/ResMed/ResMed ... Setup.html Also there is a video on the machine. In the machine Sleep Quality has to be on for detailed data to be gathered.
