Fisher Paykel Icon Premo

Post by Mikecpaine1 » Fri Dec 16, 2011 4:12 am

I recently purchased this CPAP machine and I must say (not having anything to compare it with) it seems to work really well.

I would just like someone who has this machine to tell me exactly how it saves its data. When I wake up in the morning and check the data it shows the last 30 days average, the last seven days average but wont show the last nights. Only much later in the day can I see this info.

Is this a defect or why does it take so long to save it. Also what would happen if I decided to say sleep for 2 hours during the middle of the day, does it accumulate or simply get confused and throw all the stats out.

Help would be much appreciated.

regards
Mike

I have one of these. Yes, it takes a few hours it seems to take the data from the local buffer and write it to the log. Not sure why, but Id guess it has to do with making sure that the person truly is up for the day, versus a pause.

It seems to me that the first many nights, in the AM I had last night's data, but now Im showing new info at the same delay you are.

But then again, I may have removed my mask at 5 and looked at the data at 9, and the machine had written it... not clear what the wait time is between shutoff and write data.
