Fisher Paykel Sleep Style 200

Post by sierragail » Fri Dec 09, 2011 2:09 pm

I'm thinking of buying a used Fisher Paykel Sleep Style 200 from an online source, for a back up machine. The owner used it once and refuses to use cpap ever again, or so he says. The machine I currently use is a Respironics Remstar System One. Does anybody out there know if this Fisher Paykel Sleep Style 200 has the exhale pressure relief like the Respironics does? I don't want a straight cpap machine. I guess my question is whether or not this Fisher Paykel is cpap or bipap. The owner doesn't have a clue.

You can compare models and what they offer here http://www.fphcare.com/osa/cpap-solutio ... e-200.html This link is for 230 series

Apparently there are several choices in the 200 series http://www.fphcare.com/osa/cpap-solutions/cpap.html

The 250 is the Auto or APAP model per the information on the page.

I would bet that the machine is a very basic CPAP but until you know exact model number you won't know.

I have used the F & P 200 series for over 3 years. An exhale relief has never been needed. I also Have a Resmed S8 ll Auto. I like the F & P better and only use the Resmed to check my numbers periodically. When I use the Resmed, I need exhale relief. By the way, the F & P is a straight CPAP.

I have read the manual and tried everything it says but cant seem to fix it. does anyone know anything about this?

When you turn on the unit it should show...HC...then 233...then the current humidifier setting . To change the setting use the arrow up or arrow down button.
