I have the ICON Auto and it seems to be doing something weird in the middle of the night. It will wake me after I have rolled to my back with pressure surges. I have to hold my mask on with my hand and eventually either have to turn it off then restart or roll to my side. I am not sure if this is due to me being on my back and it senses a problem with my airway. The pressure spikes on the report from the F&P software so only moderate pressure spikes, typically no more than 1 cm from the base pressure of 10 cm. I do not normally feel theses surges when I first lay down, also on my back. Just wondering if I need to request a service? Other than this I feel the difference it is starting to make. I have a lot of debt to pay off yet but it is making a difference.

Tom

Re: ICON Question
I can't say that i've experienced surges but i often wonder if the 'Sensawake' feature is working on mine as sometimes the pressure is still quite high on waking up. Supposedly this feature is supposed to wind down the pressure when it senses you waking up?

Re: ICON Question
I have questioned that also. So much so that I turned it off in the early stages of getting used to the machine. I would wake in the middle of the night and it was hard to get back to sleep with what then felt like way too much pressure. Now I am used to the pressures and have turned Sens Awake back on but I don't notice a difference. It doesn’t show up on my reports as a drop in pressure either. I can't consistently recreate the situation so it might all be in my head, lol. My biggest concern is that sensation causes the mask to start leaking as it feels like it is over pressurizing the mask. My reports do not show an increase in pressure but it does show an increase in leak rate albeit it is only a small increase. I must be getting used to it as I instinctively roll to my side and use my pillow to hold the mask in place until the surges stop.
I am guessing it is just one more thing to get used to with the equipment.
