Shaking after awaking up

Post by Hgarlutzo » Sat Nov 19, 2011 1:57 pm

I used my Cpap machine for the first time last night, and slept great! But today I feel like I am on speed. My heart has been racing, I have had the shakes. Not sure if it my body's reaction of getting good sleep or something else. Anyone have the same feeling?

I am fairly new to this so I'm sure u will receive some better input from folks on this forum. U r describing exactly how I felt after my first night but I was in the Sleep lab. I felt more energy like I had taken speed. Unfortunately, this has not been the case since I have been using it at home. I suspect your body is not used to the actual sleep u are getting. Or it may be such q dramatic change in how u feel, it just feels like u r speeding because u have been lethergic and tired for so long. It means its working! Just don't expect the shaky feeling to last. Your body will adjust. Im just completely exhausted despite of using cpap...

Tmorris,

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry to hear that you are exhausted even with the Cpap. It is just so crazy. I have some shaking again this morning but I am just going to deal with it

Adrenaline.
Your brain makes it when you're suffocating.
Now that you're not, it takes awhile for your brain to learn new patterns.

Shaking was better today. Day 3! Now I have what feels like gas in my chest. Anyone feel that?
