And later this AM it will be 11:11:11/11/11/11, the 100th anniversary of the WWI armistice.

Why do you thank veterinarians in veterans' day?

and I heartily second the sentiment. Thanks to all vets, and currently active duty!

(As a sidebar, it has been 45 years since this vet was in basic training. And today, I marched in my very first Veteran's Day Parade. The experience was exhilarating in many ways, and included a few furtively choked-up moments.)

Congrats CM. I remember my first Veterans Day Parade... except I was in the local high school marching band
