Got InfoSmart Software - F&P Auto Icon

5+ months into APAP. Ordered InfoSmart software from Australia which arrived in a week. It took awhile playing with it to figure out how to use it, but now I can see the "real" data, not the erroneous numbers that are viewed on the machine's screen. The software requires a written doctor's OK, which I obtained at my last follow-up visit.

Thanks to all you forum members who have posted such good information so that I didn't feel alone in this process. Lots of good hints. I read a lot more than I posted. I think I finally have a decent mask fit, and with the software, I can monitor my progress and see when/why events may occur. I feel this is such a good option for therapy.... no chemicals, no meds. I'll be eager to see how therapy affects my glucose, weight, etc. My morning BPs are already lower.

For any of you newbies ---- hang in there!! I couldn't sleep more than 45-75 min. a stretch those first few weeks, and felt sleep deprived, which I didn't feel before APAP. It took awhile to figure out sleep positions, pillows, masks, strap covers, liners, etc. to get the best combination. But now I'm "on a roll!"

Congratulations. I know you feel much better seeing what is really going on.

When you have time could you maybe post some examples of your various reports so we can see what the software offers? So we can see how it compares to the other software programs? I am just curious how they present their data.

Yes, I feel like I'm finally in the loop.

Data is not as detailed as other reports I've seen on this forum. I'm not sure how to include the data in a post. I don't want to post the whole file, for it includes my name and other data. Can I scan a page and save to a file, then attach that file?

We can't attach files here. We have to put them on a host site like photobucket.
I just use screen shots. When I do the screen shot I crop out the name.
Others link to image or even a document.
This how I do it.

Open the image to full size so it is easily read.
I use Vista snipping tool to create a screen shot and crop the image at the same time.
Prt/scr key will also take a screen shot if using XP. If laptop is used sometimes the Fn key has to be pushed at the same time as the prt/scr key
I think windows 7 Home Premium has the snipping tool, Basic may not.
Once the screen shot is created save it in jpg format.
Upload the image to a host site. I use Photobucket it is free, there are others.
Once the image is uploaded then copy the ENTIRE IMG address. Be sure to include the opening and closing IMG in brackets. Paste that copied address into a post here.
Use the preview button. If you can't see the image try again because if you can't see it we can't.

Depends on the keyboard. Mine actually says PrtSc and sits right next to the F12 key. It is usually up around the delete or backspace key on top key line towards the right. My laptop has a number keyboard on the right so my keys are a bit off from others.

Thanks Pugsy for the pm/email so we could get the data out to others. Glad to know that the data is better than some machines and useable in its format. Since knowledge is power, I'm hoping that having the data available will help me improve my numbers.
