How does my 1st night report look?

Post by TheRyGuy » Wed Nov 09, 2011 6:34 pm

AHI 1.74
Hypopnea 0.19
Apnea 0.00
Obstructive 1.36
Clear Airway 0.19

Thoughts? What does it mean?

Also I see a snore chart, but I don't know how to read it... (I'm using sleepyhead by the way).

I'm also a little scared now because i've read that Clear Airway Apnea is Central Apnea and it's scary that my brain is forgetting to tell my body to breathe.

To me that looks great. I can't get my AHI index down to a reasonable number.. It was at like 13 ahi highest, then I switched settings, got it down to 6 and now it's up to 8.9. I think it's due to leakage when my pressure goes up . So I just made myself a cotton mask liner out of an old tee. Hope it works, will let you all know tomorrow. It seems like some nights I have bad leakage and some nights not, it might be my sleeping position.. It seems like the mask when I am laying with my head on the pillow a certain way moves out of place.... maybe with the liner it will help..

RyGuy, you lead a charmed life , Sleep lab with dinner and breakfast, S9 with no hassle, and now w really good first night numbers, did you sleep well? Don't worry about the l few CAs. It's normal to have a few at sleep onset, or when waking. How about leaks? You are doing really well!
Any landing you walk away from is a good one; if you don't break your airplane it's excellent.
