Hello everyone,
This is getting to be trail and error now, I put a clamp on my headboard for the hose to reduce pulling on the pillows and causing mask leaks, a couple of nights ago.
Next was still seeing high AHI readings with some leaking and snoring on the Sleepyhead graph. Yesterday I went to my supplier and pick up a chin strap and used it last night. My results seem much better, here are the numbers, have been told I may need a higher Max. pressure setting. Have my titration study in about 2 weeks, so will see then.
last nights readings AHI 6.37, Hypopnea 0.82, Apnea 0.00, Obstructive 3.43, Clear Airway 2.12
MIN AVG 90% MAX
Pressure 5.00 9.35 7.18 12.00
EPAP 5.00 9.35 7.18 12.00
Minute Vent 2.50 5.37 10.58 19.50
Resp. Rate 6.60 12.55 13.13 24.00
Flow Limit 0.00 0.02 0.10 0.53
Leaks 0.00 0.63 3.60 15.60
Snore 0.00 0.01 0.03 0.20
Tidal Volune 160.00 450.25 980.00 1640.00
Let me know what you think, thanks again everyone for your continued support and help.

Re: 4th night new results
I don't think increase in maximum.. Maybe a slight increase in minimum might be worth discussing with your doctor.
If we subtract the CA (we don't treat them with pressure anyway) part of the AHI your remaining AHI is 4.25 for the obstructive component which we do treat with pressure. That 4.25 squeaks under the less than 5 AHI.
All in all for being in a trial and so new to all this, you are doing very well.

I would suggest increasing the minimum to 6...

Wow! How do you see Apneas from a CPAP machine? You don't need all the sleep study wires and stuff? Can I see mine? I have a resmed s9.

Yes, you can. The link to the ResScan software is in Uncle Bobs signature. There is a link to the tutorial for it in my signature.TheRyGuy wrote:Wow! How do you see Apneas from a CPAP machine? You don't need all the sleep study wires and stuff? Can I see mine? I have a resmed s9.
You can see your numbers on the display also. Press and hold the info and settings button for 3-5 secnds until you notice the display flash. Then use the knob to scroll through the options.
