Saved my Life!

Post by sleepyvetech » Tue Nov 08, 2011 10:37 am

It's been 5 months since I got "Roger", my CPAP. I have had no naps through out the day, and I feel AMAZING!!! I have lost 33 lbs, and I feel like my life is 3 dimensional again. I have recommended this site to my family and friends, and even my DME to pass along. All of you have been wonderful with my crazy questions and I can't thank you enough. With my SPO2 in the low 80's for 80% of the night, I was literally a zombie. I lost my job due to falling asleep, and I have even suffered some heart failure. My Dr. has been amazing and my DME...Well I can't say enough positive things about them. Thank you LINCARE! For all of you newbies, hang in there. It gets easier and more comfortable to sleep with your headgear. Just wanted to share...

Good news! Now I think you should get "Roger" changed in your profile. You should have an S9 either Elite or Autoset to go with your nice humidifier!

Congratulations!

The subject heading of your thread is exactly how I feel, couldn't put it any better.
Thinking of quitting CPAP?

No problem, here's the first thing to do when you quit:

Advanced funeral planning. When you give up CPAP, you'll probably need it.
