I DREAMED!

Post by nichola » Sat Nov 05, 2011 6:26 pm

I ACTUALLY dreamed!!!

I used to always say.. i dont dream.. or i dont remember my dreams...

I had no idea it was cos I had sleep apnea.

Reading from others it seems dreaming is something that people with sleep apnea can miss out on.. so I had been kinda hoping it would happen.. as it would indicate better sleep.

and it did!!

Congratulations, nichola. Isn't it great? I just started to experience the same thing myself. It kinda makes you want to stay in bed and sleep all the time so you can experience more dreaming. Hey, it's great entertainment . Hope you continue to have many more pleasant dreams...

May you have sweet dreams again to night. In fact, wouldn't be an AWESOME dream to wake up in your dream checking your data reading to be 0.0???

What kind of a dream? A weird one or a nightmare or an hallucination? In my opinion it is most likely that you have been dreaming all the time but you have not remembered them. Otherwise, you would not be able to construct and keep short term memories from your life and become an Alzheimer's. May be you are? Let's hope, not! The best test is a partner who would tell you.

Hmmmm... I have always dreamed, and usually remembered my dreams.

Since I started CPAP, I do think I dream more, and have more pleasant dreams. Actually, I don't think I've had a nightmare in months. I wonder if there is a connection?

Same here Nichola...before cpap I would dream, but very rarely and I do remember thinking over the years how odd that was that I quit dreaming as I used to dream every night! Now I don't know that I'm thrilled to always dream though, as the other night one was about this nasty hairy spider (of which I HATE!!!!) that happened to be in the Halloween spider web at my house...I was staying in front of the web and when I turned....THERE IT WAS!!!! So, yeah, I could have done without THAT one...but otherwise most of my dreamings have been mild ones!! Good luck to you and "happy" dreams!

I never had any trouble dreaming before or after CPAP.
I have a reoccurring dream, it could be several times a week. I'm back in school, either high school or collage, and one of the following has happened.
A big test is coming up, and I haven't cracked the book yet.
I haven't done one or more assignments.
I haven't attended class.
It almost gets tiresome have these dreams over and over.
I guess it's better than dreaming that you ate a big marsh mellow, then not being able to find your pillow when you wake up.

I went for years without dreaming or remembering my dreams. Now I dream almost every night. It is a healthy and healing thing to do. Our bodies can now finally start being replenished.

Ha! The I-haven't-studied-for-the-test dream. It's so ubiquitous that it really should have its own name. I still have some of those, but now I also have dreams where I lose my kids. Forget the test, forget the kid--same theme, different phase of life.
