Resmed Vpap III questions, etc
I have a Resmed Vpap III which is likely a used model from 2006. I'm experiencing very high pitched whining noises. Does anyone know what the average life of the equipment is? obviously it is pretty old. I checked the menu and it lists 14,779hrs and 1018 days. I'd like to get a newer model. Any suggestions?? My equipment provider is Lincare which I'm having major problems with, especially within the past few months. They have horrible customer service!! Can anyone recommend a good provider located in maryland, please? I have Medicare and qualified medicare beneficiary (QMB) so it would have to be a medicare supplier.

Happy birthday, autumnfae
A ResMed S9 VPAP would be the newest model equivalent to the VPAP III you're using now.
Also... the ResMed S9 VPAP Auto (if used in just bilevel mode without turning "VAUTO" on) would do the same thing as the S9 VPAP.
Either of those S9 machines would be the newest ResMed for bilevel therapy like the VPAP III you've been using.

Re: Resmed Vpap III questions, etc
Thank you for the recommendation and birthday wishes. Luckily yesterday they finally came by with a machine. They swapped my old one with a PR System One REMstar BiPAP ST, it is so quiet and has pretty nice results so far.
