DeVilbiss Intellipap BIPAP
I'm getting a new bipap machine DeVilbiss Intellipap BIPAP Machine w/ 'Rounding' (BIFLEX) with Heated Humidifier.Has anyone had experience with this unit.I used to be 19cm on cpap but now DR wants me on 17/21 cm,Is thin a good machine thanks in advance.
Re: DeVilbiss Intellipap BIPAP
There are a handful of Intellipap Auto users here on the forum. I don't recall ever seeing a Intellipap BiPap user though.
So giving this a bump and maybe one of the Intellipap users will speak up. They all seem quite happy with their machines.
Are you going to get the software?

I will say that if you are already used to 19cm the bipap will be easy for you. Like nothing at all. That can make all the difference for you. It is hard to exhale against 19cm so its like not blowing off your CO2

I have no doubt, how I sleep affects every waking moment.
I am making progress-NOW I remember that I can't remember

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Re: DeVilbiss Intellipap BIPAP
Are they all full data and you just have to get the smart link setup.
Re: DeVilbiss Intellipap BIPAP
It looks like there is only one bipap model avail. I hope they just left it off that link but I don't see anything for a DC hook-up. Anyone that knows either way?Emilia wrote:Here is the company page with info and downloads for the bi-level: http://www.devilbisshealthcare.com/prod ... -bilevel-s

The Smart Link software doesn't come with the machine; you have to purchase it separately. Our host site has it as does secondwindcpap.com.

Re: DeVilbiss Intellipap BIPAP
I used a rental DeVilbiss Bilevel for a few months. I found the default values for ipap and epap rounding didn't match my breathing, after I changed those I was a happy camper (or is that happy sleeper?). The main reasons I now have an S9 vpap auto instead of the DeVilbiss is no flow data. My breathing problem is RERAs so flow data is important since I can't rely on the AHI from the machine. If the DeVilbiss had flow data it is likely I would still be using it as the cost difference between it and the S9 vpap auto is more than enough to buy an external heated hose (the other thing I really like about the S9).mwesthefer wrote:Has anyone had experience with this unit.

Talking to a dme company makes you want to pull out your hair!Lucky for me i got the answer before i was bald. Thanks Emilia for your answer I should of read your post before subjecting myself to those people!!The lady told me she does not know what full data capability means,I said I under stand that and you should go to cpaptalk.com to learn more. She also said people that buy the smart link setup dont understand what it says and you need a resp therapist to understand. i said I have my DR and cpaptalk to figure that out.
