Monday I posted my experience with DME and being talked into PRS1 cpap pro instead of apap that I wanted. I was finally able to arrange a return trip today and exchange for the S9 AutoSet that I was originally talked out of. My DME RT was unwilling to set machine to auto at this time due to MD's order to be set to 7. I fully understand this as it would be a change to MD's order, but I at least have a machine capable for auto in the future when I get order changed. I have been using a PRS1 apap (a loaner) for the past several nights and requiring slightly higher settings (7.5 - 8 with max about 10) than ordered, so will be interested to compare results with straight cpap at 7. I believe this may also help to justify auto when I see MD in a few weeks. Thanks to everyone here for their support, encouragement and clarifications of some of the misleading statements made by DME on first visit.
