S9 quits after 4 hours

Post by REF » Mon Sep 12, 2011 6:32 am

I'm looking for some help for my brother in-law. He has an S9 Escape Auto, I know it's one step over a brick but it will give him his AHI report. Anyways the S9 stops working after about 4 hours. He is using a full face mask and his pressure is set up at 12 to 17. He is not having any major leaks with the mask.
Any help would be welcome.
Thank you,
REF

Hi, ref and welcome to the forum. You or brother-in-law needs to provide more detailed info about what is and is not happening. Does it appear to be getting power?.. does the LCD screen come on? Is there a humidifier attached to this?
If there is power, are there any messages on the screen, and it the unit trying to pump air? Without some specific info, it's hard to be of assistance. When you repost some better info, someone familiar with the S9 will probably jump in and offer suggestions. Best wishes,

He is using a HH, it is getting power, there is no message on the screen. It just shuts itself off on it's own.
Thank you,

I would be contacting supplier for a different machine and while at it pushing for a full data machine.
Repeated shut offs aren't the norm. We might blame one or two shut offs due to power interruptions but not repeated shut offs.
