New Here

Post by Marilyn » Mon Jan 30, 2006 10:55 am

Hi I am new here, I just finished my sleep test this morning. I know I didn't do well so I guess that is good for the test results. I will get the results in about 2 weeks, I do wish it was sooner.

I live in Northern California.

Welcome, Marilyn, you've come to the right place for information from experienced hoseheads. Best advise: read, read & read, then ask questions.
Good luck

On the other hand......SOME of us (myself included) have probably been (at one time or another) accused of resembling THE OTHER END OF THE HORSE.....

Welcome to the forum, Marilyn.

Best wishes,

You have the opportunity to read and learn what you need to make a better informed treatment of your new problem. You can get the best equipment you can to treat our problems. Learn all you can before the Dr. and DME make decisions in their best interest not yours.

LOL...Den

I had to recheck my post to see if I spelled it wrong! That goes with another thing i posted about how we all sometimes "read" something quickly and "see" a word different that what it is. RE: my friend's son who was looking over my shoulder, saw the "Cpap Talk" at the top and asked me why I was at "Crap Talk".

HI, I'm new here too. But I've had a look around and I think I like you folks. After enjoying a bit of your humor, I suddenly stopped feeling sorry for myself. Just met the machine I live with last week, and I wasn't too happy about it.Thanks a whole great bunch for helping me see the other side of the coin.

I am new to the forum.
My username is my wifes creation, she thinks I look like the Borg
in Star Trek, with my head Gear on.

All I can forward is that my CPAP has changed my life.
I just transitioned to my second machine after 8700 hours.
I have to say that that is 8700 hours of qualiity sleep.

My new machine is so quite I can't even hear it when it is on.
And the Auto pressure is excellent.

Best wishes....
