Started using SD and software and have a question.

Okay I just started using the SD card in the back of machine.

Last night recorded and I've reviewed it with the help of some people. I have a question now. Should I erase that from the card or will the next night just record in there as well and when I open it in Sleepyhead will I be able to view both the days?

Don't erase anything. The card will continue to store your progressive data. You will want to look at it all and not just in isolation.
