Software(s) Not Working....

Post by mikeandtina » Sun Aug 14, 2011 8:00 pm

I'm having software problems; not able to find one that will work on my machine.
Part of the problem (most likely the largest problem) may be that I am very low tech so am not able to figure things out....

Encore Viewer: I have a 32-bit and only works on 64-bit
Encore Pro: Thanks for the link Pugsy; but it keeps wanting to reboot (sad face)
Onkor: Can't get the tutorial to play. Can't import data
Sleepyhead: My computer won't download VLC (necessary to use Sleepyhead??)

Are there other options that anyone could suggest?
I've got to get my AHI number down and I'm running out of options.

Thanks all for any help! Tina

EncoreViewer 2.0 is designed to work on 32bit systems. Some have had luck with a workaround that lets them use it on 64bit systems. Should be no problem on your 32bit system.

Encore Viewer 2.0 is 32 bit.... not easy to get it to work on 64 bit computer but a few gurus have done it.

Tell us about your computer....What is the operating system? You say it is 32 bit Viewer should work. Did you mean your computer is 64 bit?
Is it a Mac...or which Windows version?

I am not familiar with VLC for SleepyHead. I didn't do any special download. I use Windows 7 on this 64 bit computer.
I have Pro installed on it and no problems.. Also installed the 32 bit version on my old Vista laptop.

I wasn't aware that the Onkor tutorial needed to "play" unless he has done a video. I typed up instructions with screenshots quite a while ago.

Edit. He does appear to have a video tutorial. It did play for me.
See if theses instructions are of help to you. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=63543&p=593354&hili ... or#p593354

Oh, thank you Pugsy and Dale!!
Yes I do have 32-bit and will get Encore Viewer.
I hope to be less fuzzy when when the AHI's are lower; I get easily confused.
I was crying but now am happy.
Thank you very much!

That doesn't make any sense. Why do you think you need to download VLC to use SleepyHead?

There are two versions of Encore Pro, 32 bit and 64 bit, you must download the Encore Pro version to match the windows operating system your computer uses. Jim

Encoreviewer is mase for 32 bit windows only.

Do you mean VLC Media Player? That was probably suggested to you to play the tutorial for Onkor. It has nothing to do with SleepyHead.

Yup. Just clarifying.. SleepyHead don't need VLC. You could be missing a DLL, although I thought I fixed that stuff.

There is no official release yet... just little sneak previews every now and then..Getting closer to being good.

I went away for a few days, and am back now.. Hopefully I can get organized and upload a new windows build soon.

I'm gonna start planning Android support...
