I absolutely Love My Top Gun Simulator Kit!

Post by sleepdeprivedemt » Sun Aug 14, 2011 7:44 pm

I have been a user since December, I know that I have already introduced myself, but this is for some humor in our lives.

Before I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea, I was grounded, the jet just wouldn't start, some would tell me that I sounded like an F-14 with a few poles stuck in the intake.

That was before!

Now that I have my Top Gun Simulator Kit the dreams take me EVERYWHERE! Flying over California, Dog Fighting in Europe, Bombing in the Middle East, it is great! There are even times when the hose touches me in my sleep and it's like I do an evasive maneuver to keep from being shot down! This is awesome!

I love this thing!

If only everyone could have your great attitude towards C-pap.
Good for you.
Isn't it wonderful to be among the living again?

Oh yeah, I love it! Especially when a 911 call comes in at work, I wake up springboarding out of my rack!

It's great to hear how well you are doing.

I understand about the loud special effects. About a year prior to diagnosis and therapy with CPAP, my company sent everyone to a "summer camp" at Boston University for a week or two to learn about new products. To save money, they wanted folks to share rooms. I warned them that I snored *really* loudly. They said "Tough! You will need to share a room, anyway!". I explained that I was not worried about me, it was the prospective room mate I was worried about.

After they tried two different people in my room, they decided that I probably should be in a room by myself. LOL! It's not as if I didn't try to warn them!

Better tie the machine to the table. You might imagine you're Indiana Jones some night and start trying to kill the snake that's attacking you.

You laugh. I don't!

Early in my therapy, I awoke confused because the dream seemed to be REAL. That snake in my dream seemed to be wrapping itself around me! It took me a few minutes to realize the hose was wound around my neck!!

Fortunately, after 20 years of it, I no longer toss and turn as much as night. That's probably best for my ASV unit!

What is great is getting up in the middle of the night for a run and the hose is wrapped around my neck and I jolt up CRASH!!!!!!!!

Glad them things are durable!
